Remembering Hymn Leader Moyo (NaNdaba)
Remembering Hymn Leader Moyo (NaNdaba)

"Kukalanga ndiko kanyi kwedu ….tozanazana tonanayila tondikumbuza kanyi "…this was a song she would proudly sing .with so much enthusiasm and pride of where she comes from. Such a ball of energy she was and my imaginative mind tells me she is singing her way to heaven and the best way to honor her is not to shed tears in her remembrance but rather to sing with her joyously as she makes her way to heaven. Whilst singing was her thing ,no one can ever forget her cooking. An active person very energetic ,she would come into any kitchen and change the atmosphere. You would feel as though you are in a Master Chef kitchen. The smell of the food will have to change when she walks in cause she knew all the flavors and tastes. I remember one day when we were cooking at a wedding she sat down and started crying in the kitchen , she said I cry for my grandchildren they lost their father and they are so young will they ever be happy. This was the only time she was ever this open cause she seemed like a closed book, like she wouldn't just open up to people instead she would hum Hymn number 5 all day when something was bothering her whilst sewing GRM uniforms. She was a jack of all trades and a Master of all I tell you. A real hero worth being sung. She had this mindset of wanting women to own especially kitchenware I remember. Let us sing together with uHymn Leader uNaNdaba Mrs Moyo,as she takes her seat for heaven has gained one .And to the family left behind ,whilst heartfelt condolences pour in, may your heart's always remember that she was and still is a sung singing heroine to all of us.
